Each relationship comes with its share of struggles which most try to address by themselves. I provide a safe space for people in relationships to address their concerns and effectively communicate with one another. After forming a strong foundation of communication, we will address the deeper layers that make fighting about the dishes a bigger issue. We will hold space for exploration of individual needs and concerns, and help each person feel seen and supported by their partner.

I have worked with a variety of relationships over the years including those with exploring and involved in open or polyamorous relationships. I enjoy working with these relationships to help provide a space to process different stressors and hold space for creating or maintaining open communication and healthy connection along the way. Whether considering this new dynamic or maintaining it through other stressful situations, these relationships will be held with respect and care.

More people are learning about the dynamics of codependency in their relationships, and I help couples address these struggles while having both partners in the room. This allows for the codependency to be addressed within the relationship and for both partners to increase awareness of tendencies to put the other first and lose themselves within the relationship. By working together as a couple, you are able to learn new strategies and ways to address these concerns as a team.

Emotionally Focused Therapy allows for couples to go deeper into their concerns, recognize underlying patterns of relating to one another, and address underlying unmet needs and wants. This therapy orientation provides for more depth during couples counseling and helps each person's perspective and desires to be seen and held safely in the counseling room.

I believe that people live in community and that our community impacts how we then interact with the world. Therefore, I help people address their attachment styles and move towards healthy and balanced relationships. Using this lens helps individuals, couples and families understand how they relate and connect to those closest around them.

I love working with couples, partners, families (and even close friends) to address and repair their relationships. I help these clients understand more about their relationships, grow deeper together with their loved ones, and move towards healthy and balanced relationships. No one is an island, and working with the relationships themselves can help lasting change come to fruition and be sustained.
