About My Clients

I work with many who have struggled with anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD and found that traditional talk therapy isn't quite the solution they were hoping for. I provide clients with concrete tools that you can use to manage waves of sadness, fear, or worry, and get back to a life that you value. One of my passions is also working with new and expecting parents, and providing a compassionate source of support as you navigate the ups and downs of parenthood and try to find new balance.

My Background and Approach

I graduated with my PhD in clinical and community psychology from Georgia State University, and I completed my postdoctoral residency with the Atlanta VA. In addition to providing therapy, I’m also a part-time instructor at Georgia State University, where I teach and provide therapy supervision to clinical psychology graduate students. I specialize in using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I’ve also received specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and perinatal mental health treatment. I’m certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
