About My Clients
Currently, I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, identity, mood disorders, life transitions, and crisis management . I also have specialized training in working with those in the LGBTQIA+ community. I strive to help others find their voice in order to advocate for real change by challenging negative thinking and increasing self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Located in Dallas, Texas. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor of arts in Sociology. I then attended Southern Methodist University and graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling. Previously I served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Services in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. Here I gained knowledge and expertise in crisis management and stabilization, self injurious behaviors, trauma, and chemical dependency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer of meeting people where they are in life. My therapeutic process focuses on working collaboratively to address issues and find solutions that work best for the individual. My goal is to establish a safe relationship, instill hope, and empower individuals by emphasizing the power of doing what is in their control and aligns with what they feel is important.
