About My Clients
No matter what you may be going through, you're not alone. I provide LGBTQ-affirming, culturally-sensitive therapy to adults and adolescents. Therapy is a safe place to unburden yourself of emotional weight, understand yourself better, imagine and work toward a more fulfilled life, and try out new ways of thinking, doing, and being. I will help you develop healthier thought patterns and deeper connection to yourself and others, gain clarity, and develop self-awareness and self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I hold an LCSW, MSW, and BSW with a Minor in Women's Studies. I have worked in diverse settings including community mental health, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, and private practice. I work from a strengths-based, client-centered, intersectional feminist perspective, and draw on elements of Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
