About My Clients
I am passionate about working with LGBTQ+ people and providing gender-affirming care, working with women’s issues, attachment, sex and relationships, as well as helping clients navigate body image, self-esteem, neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a weight-neutral therapist, I embrace the Health at Every Size (HAES) model, focusing on well-being rather than weight.
My Background and Approach
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a profound space where we can explore not just our challenges and pain points, but also our deepest needs, desires, and the complexities of how we exist in the world. It is important to me to create an environment that fosters unconditional positive regard that allows you to better understand yourself, cultivate self-compassion, and move towards personal growth, whether individually or within your relationships. My therapeutic approach integrates attachment theory, narrative therapy, ACT, DBT, CPT, and more while using a feminist therapy lens. I recognize the inherent worth and dignity of every individual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer woman, I hold queer issues and relationships close to my heart and I actively seek to engage in learning and advocacy around gender-affirming care, racial equity, accessibility, women’s issues, and more. My hope is to offer a space that honors and celebrates the full spectrum of who you are, regardless of where you fall on the spectrum of gender, sexuality, or relationship structures. I believe that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in connection. In my free time, I enjoy reading, reality tv, thrifting, and hanging out with my cat, Oliver.
