I am EMDR trained and often use this powerful technique (along with Gestalt therapy) to help clients dramatically decrease symptoms of PTSD and trauma such as panic attacks, hyper vigilance, nightmares, triggers, avoidance of situations, irritability, poor view of self due to childhood trauma such as "I'm not good enough", "I'm not safe", "I have no control", "I'm not worthy of love", "I'm all alone". I have a lot of experience treating veterans with this modality and so many success stories!

Together we will change how you think about stress/anxiety, I'll teach you self regulating tools to control the mind/body, and we will do in-session mindfulness/relaxation/grounding exercises so you can learn to use these tools on your own. I often use interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Solution Focused Therapy to help change how you view situations and therefore dramatically decrease your level of anxiety.

Together we will process and analyse the roots of your depression so we can create small achievable systems in your life to get you to achieve your ultimate goals. I use a gentle process of collaboration with you to find ways in which you can achieve small successes that will ultimately lead you to your ultimate goals in life. I often use interventions from Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help decrease depression in your life.

By far my favorite modality to use with folks struggling with PTSD and Trauma. EMDR is an incredible technique that changes people's lives! I have a video platform catered to this technique and when you're finished with EMDR therapy you will see yourself having no more triggers of traumatic events, nightmares, avoidance of places or people, tension in your body when you think of the traumatic event, hyper-vigilance, panic/anxiety, irritability, and negative thoughts about yourself/others.

I use this evidenced-based modality to kindly challenge client's maladaptive thoughts that leads to maladaptive behavior. Once clients are able to learn to find different ways of thinking about themselves, others, and the world we live in they can significantly decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression in their lives.

I teach clients how to live mindfully, meaning, how to focus on the here-and-now, how to notice the world around you and inside of you. I may do in-session grounding exercises and meditation exercises to teach you how to feel more connected to yourself and to others. Studies show that if you practice mindfulness meditation you will literally rewire your brain in two months where you'll be able to let go of negative emotions quicker and be able to live more in the present.
