About My Clients
Having a Chronic Illness can feel like a full-time job. It is common to feel constantly worried on how to avoid flare ups, to feel guilt for missing out on events, and to grief the lives we had pre-diagnosis. This is a space where you don't have to have it all together and you don't have to carry your burden alone. Through our sessions, I work with you to gain your power back, to balance your life and learn how to feel safe in your body again.
My Background and Approach
As a spoonie, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate health uncertainties. My intent is to listen deeply and support you in finding clarity and direction in your journey. I want to empower you to implement balance in your life, advocate for your needs, and rediscover YOU again. I aim to curate an atmosphere that is safe, natural, and I prioritize meeting you where you are. Our sessions might be filled with celebrating your growth, sharing tears of discomfort, laughter, and experiencing moments of peace. Our sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. In difficult times, it's easy to lose yourself. I want to guide you to listen to your body. learn to trust yourself and let go of what is not serving you. We will work together to find healthy and practical ways to develop boundaries, become proactive, and alleviate those negative thoughts that weigh you down.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a BIPOC provider, an Autoimmune Warrior/spoony and an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Though my sessions are virtual, I do my best to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. I continue learning about the populations I specialize in. However, I am always open to feedback from my clients in what would make them feel more included - event if that means a fact check! lol
