About My Clients
I am dedicated to helping clients develop satisfying relationships and explore pleasure. I work with individuals and couples, and my focus includes conflict and communication breakdowns in relationships; sexual identity; gender identity; non-monogamy and open relationships; low desire/desire discrepancy; difficulty with arousal or orgasm; sex-related pain; erectile dysfunction; trauma and other sexual problems.
My Background and Approach
Starting therapy can be intimidating and finding a therapist you click with can seem daunting. The success of these relationships is more than just the sum of a therapist’s qualifications and credentials. Therapy is built on trust. The difficulties we find in our relationships, and in life itself, can be scary to confront alone, but having an ally who we trust can give us the courage to face them and the ability to resolve them. I prioritize mutual respect and trust, allowing us to co-create a safe space for self-exploration, understanding, and ultimately a richer, fuller, and more authentic life. I utilize an integrative approach to treatment based on attachment, experiential, and trauma-based modalities. I have post-graduate training in Emotion Focused Therapy, AEDP, and Sex Therapy. I welcome anyone seeking to address relationship, intimacy or sexual health related concerns to reach out to me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am LGBTQIA+/GNC/Kink/Ethically Non-Monogamous/Sex Worker affirming. I approach my work from a social justice perspective and anti-oppressive lens. I have particular interest in the movements to decolonize sex and gender.
