About My Clients
Immediate availability for teletherapy appointments! I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, identity formation, and other life stressors who are interested in deepening their understanding of themselves, their behaviors, and the ways in which they relate to others.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed master social worker and board-certified music therapist. I feel passionately about ensuring the therapeutic alliance is an equal partnership in which clients can feel comfortable in their vulnerability to bring their authentic selves and work toward positive change. My approach is eclectic in nature, incorporating elements of relational therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness/grounding techniques. I work under the supervision of Comisar Psychotherapy Group (David Comisar, LCSW-R).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In addition to being a therapist, I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and have done a small amount of work as an ASL interpreter. I strive to be an ally to the Deaf and disability communities. I identify as Queer, non-binary, and gay; working with LGBTQIA+ clients and issues related to gender and sexuality are a passion of mine.
