About My Clients
I work with clients around topics of consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, desire discrepancies, shame, intimacy, sexual health, sexual identity, problematic sexual behaviors, sex work, kink, and BDSM.
My Background and Approach
I strive to empower people to cultivate the life they desire. Through a collaborative relationship, we will work on identifying and unraveling the stories you've built unconsciously, to live in a way that feels more intentional. I obtained my Master of Social Work Degree from Bridgewater State University. My earlier experiences were in the mobile crisis and acute inpatient psychiatric settings. Over the past two years, I have transitioned to individual and relational work specifically focusing on sex therapy. The process of change can sometimes feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, I invite you in playing an active role in your treatment, my role is not to “fix”, but rather act as a guide to find and see the better self that is within you already. To start a journey however, we need to take that first step, no matter how small; let's work on it together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have found “meeting the person where they are” to be an important framework in therapy, as we are all unique in our strengths and challenges; meeting you with an open heart and open-mind is one of my main goals; to help you begin to see things you previously viewed as problems, shift into possibilities. I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to grow, utilizing both positive and negative events from our past to move into our healthier, more genuine selves.
