About My Clients

Whether I am working with you as an individual or as part of a relational unit, I am always curious about how other people and systems impact you. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that the client is the expert of their own life, with an innate need to be seen and understood. I aim to provide a non-judgmental space that encourages exploration of self and relationships, by examining attachment (in)securities, internalized oppression, and family of origin narratives.

My Background and Approach

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that the client is the expert of their own life, with an innate need to be seen and understood. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you get unstuck from problematic patterns and help create secure attachment in your life. I also integrate a somatic approach to explore body sensations, which hold emotions that are often hard to name or express. I help you to recognize these sensations and understand how your body is always "talking" to you. I am compassionate and help my clients to live their most authentic lives. My orientation is strength-based trauma-informed, with extensive training in working with traumatic stress.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing happens in the presence of others. I don't believe that people are broken and know that growth happens when people can have open curiosity and compassion towards themselves and others.
