About My Clients
I work with adult and geriatric populations. I can help you with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship/family issues, co-dependency, addiction, eating disorders, and adjustment disorders.
My Background and Approach
I completed my master’s degree in social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2006. I will complete my PhD in General Psychology in Spring 2025. I have worked in a variety of behavioral health settings including inpatient, residential, and outpatient mental health and substance abuse. I utilize a variety of therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, Gottman Method, and solution-focused therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can change and grow with the right support and guidance. I can help you to identify and work on the issues that are important to you and help you make changes to improve those issues. The first step is acceptance and awareness of the issue. I am here to be a non-judgmental guide on your path to a healthier and happier you!
