About My Clients
My clients range between children ages 10 and up, teens to emerging young adults. My clients come to me to work on increasing self esteem, self advocacy, to manage emotional regulation and to work through past traumas/grief and/or loss.
My Background and Approach
I am a Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA. I am focused on providing person-centered care to help each person feel empowered in their treatment. My clinical framework includes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that expression through art making can be a positive outlet of expression and help the individual feel empowered through their therapy process. I have a very compassionate approach to meeting one's needs and have witnessed first hand that engaging in the therapy process and art making can increase one’s insight about their current stressors and serve as a stepping stone to building strong foundational coping skills. Taking part in therapy can help anyone strive through adversity with resilience and confidence for a lifetime.
