About My Clients
I work with individuals 18+ and specialize in the treatment of trauma, eating disorders, psychedelic integration, and issues relating to veganism/vystopia. I work with folks who may be struggling with disordered eating, body image, self-esteem, existential crisis, spiritual emergency, psychedelic integration, life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, sexuality, gender identity, adverse childhood experiences, substance use, self-harm, spiritual/religious issues, and emotion regulation.
My Background and Approach
I became a counselor because of my own healing journey and a desire to help others who walk this path as I recognized throughout my own therapy how important it is to have a place where we can have open-minded, unbiased, and non-judgmental support from a professional who cares about your growth. My therapeutic style is integrative and uses a variety of therapeutic styles and techniques that are client-centered, growth and process oriented, and strength-based. I have completed advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Dialectical behavioral therapy, Psychedelic integration/Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Transpersonal psychology, Buddhist/Eastern psychotherapy, and Nature-based therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is informed through an anti-oppression framework, feminist, and social justice lens. I also identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, believe Black Lives Matter, and provide affirming care. I work with eating disorders from an anti-diet, body positive, and Health At Every Size approach. In my free time I enjoy being in nature, live music, cooking, mycology, traveling, and hanging out in my hammock reading a good book.
