About My Clients
As a trauma-informed therapist, I have experience working with troubled teens, marginalized communities and individuals that feel stuck in the shame/blame/guilt cycle. I love working with people of color, who are struggling with racial imposter syndrome while navigating their relationship with immigrant parents. And in regards to couple's work, I utilize Attachment Science and Emotional Focused Therapy to create an evidence based approach to help couple's achieve better communication.
My Background and Approach
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Although trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I consider myself an eclectic therapist who incorporates a variety of therapeutic philosophies to best serve my clients. While in session, you can expect me to be warm, collaborative and active during your healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I value autonomy, transparency and a strong therapeutic relationship.
