About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults to help them grow from within and improve their relationships with themselves and others. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety and depression, which affects their relationships, self-esteem, and quality of life. I specialize in working with those who experience anxiety disorders, depression, guilt, career stress, and relationship challenges. I meet each client with warmth and openness, and create a unique approach for each client to achieve their desired goals.
My Background and Approach
I view therapy as a collaboration between therapist and client, to develop better insight into their “stuck places” in life. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I also co-lead psychotherapy groups. I believe they are a vehicle to help catalyze healthy relationship patterns, to safely explore relational patterns, and how you communicate your needs with others. I view therapy as a twofold process. First, to work through the immediate presenting issues, and more importantly, understanding the patterns that may have contributed to them, develop a better understanding of self, let go of self-limiting beliefs, and ultimately thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe psychotherapy is a way to invest in oneself and one's quality of life. Starting from a framework that emphasizes a compassionate and collaborative relationship, our work will provide the space for you to explore and recover from the concerns that brought you into psychotherapy and develop more self-compassion and freedom in your life. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in communications for over a decade, and co-owned a public relations agency. I have a unique understanding of the delicate balance between career and work life balance.
