About My Clients
Do you ever find it difficult to express how you feel or communicate your thoughts? Have you ever thought that those around you don’t fully understand what you’re experiencing / experienced? I am here to help you explore and unpack any areas of your life that you find challenging, confusing, or overwhelming. There doesn’t have to be anything “wrong” to seek therapy, but it can feel terrifying taking that first step. You are brave and you are welcomed here, so please come as you are.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida in 2015. I then continued on to obtain my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University and graduated in 2018. I obtained licensure in 2020 and am currently working towards becoming a National Certified Counselor, as well as becoming a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Interns. Separate from schooling, I have work experience in private practice settings, crisis stabilization units, inpatient substance abuse facilities, school settings, abuse advocacy centers, and medication-assisted treatment centers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Who am I outside of being a therapist? My wife and I are pet moms to two cats who act more like dogs than cats (Hazel and Francis) and the most relaxed rabbit (Linus) that you will ever meet. I enjoy beach days just as much as staying home and watching a new docu-series on various streaming services. You can always find me at a market; farmer’s market, oddities market, vintage market, I’m there. I enjoy yoga, meditation, and try to learn as much as I can about holistic wellness. Brunch is my favorite meal and fall is my favorite season. I look forward to getting to know you!
