Whether trauma, mental health, or addiction has created challenges in your life, if you are wanting to learn skills and gain an understanding of your situation, and even a willingness to be a little uncomfortable, I would like to share with you ways to achieve your goals. My goal is to create a safe environment where clients feel accepted as they are.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to empower you with skills and knowledge so that you can successfully manage symptoms and meet your goals. I have twelve years of experience and utilized multiple modalities to meet the needs of the individuals I work with. I come from a strengths-based perspective and focus on what is going well and build on that. I know that people feel freer to change when they are accepted as they are in the moment. I believe that individuals can and do recover from addiction and trauma, and can improve their mental health. I have worked in various settings and with all age groups. I have treated depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and family issues. I have supported LGBQTI individuals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that when we show up authentically and vulnerably, we grow and others around us grow as well. One of my interests is the Right Use of Power, I believe that ethical leadership is an important aspect of how we can positively impact others around us.
