My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I use techniques from various psychological disciplines to tailor my work to fit each client’s needs. I am EMDR-trained and enjoy using this modality with clients whose trauma symptoms compromise their daily life or sense of self. I also utilize: Internal Family Systems (IFS) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Intersectional Feminist Therapy No matter where you are on your healing journey, I will meet you where you’re at. Collaboratively, you and I will resolve the old stuff holding you back, cultivate skills you can use to manage current stressors, and help you move away from shame and towards acceptance.
