About My Clients

I understand that each person has a unique perspective, shaped by their experiences and intersecting identities. I believe that individuals should have the power of choice and control in the pursuit of change.

My Background and Approach

My goal is to empower emerging adults by collaborating to share knowledge, re-frame negative internalizations, and foster self-congruence. I see my role as a guide, not a problem solver, and I leverage storytelling to uplift narratives and pursue liberation. As a scientist, I am driven by curiosity to understand the impact of our interactions, no matter how small. My approach is integrative, holistic, and process-focused, in service of identifying pragmatic, achievable solutions. I strive to incorporate individuals' strengths, passions, and interests into therapy work to engender meaningful growth. My experience in emergency medicine has enabled me to understand how to use the inequitable healthcare system and be an advocate for others, particularly those who are marginalized. You can expect discussion of systemic issues of oppression (e.g., racism, patriarchy, ableism, and heteronormativity) to better understand the impact on your health, wellbeing, and recovery.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Self-compassion and self-forgiveness are crucial for healing intergenerational trauma and are acts of intentional self-reflection.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
