About My Clients
I have a particular passion for working with adolescents and adults who are in the process of exploring and understanding their sexual orientation and gender identities. In my practice I provide an accepting and empathic space for people of all identities, in particular LGBTQIA+ individuals, Black, Indigenous, people of color, immigrants, women, and those engaged in kink/BDSM and nontraditional relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master’s in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have experience providing psychodynamic, relational, and behavioral therapies such as CBT, narrative, play therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am dedicated to the pursuit of an equitable world by working to dismantle white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, ableism, and capitalism. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, rooted in anti-racist practice, and trauma-informed. I believe that therapy should be a space free of judgment. You are the expert on your own life and together we can build an authentic relationship as we work together towards your healing and joy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of my work as a therapist I enjoy spending time in nature, snuggling with my senior dog, and watching drag performances and bad reality television.
