As a therapist my strengths lie in working with folks who are navigating complex PTSD, emotional sensitivity and anxiety disorders and guiding them in understanding how to work with and care for their nervous systems. I care deeply about helping you reconnect with and build safety in your body and it is my hope to help you be the most confident version of you that you can be!
My Background and Approach
I am a highly relational therapist and collaborative guide who values cultivating curiosity, laughter, and meaningful dialogue with my clients. I draw from a diverse range of clinical experiences and my robust training background and personal journey with trauma and anxiety equips me with a profound ability to empathize and quickly grasp the nuances of emotional and psychological suffering. From a clinical perspective, my approach combines strategies from modalities like Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My practice is strongly influenced by principles rooted in Buddhist Psychology, Liberation Psychology, Postmodern Feminist Theory, and a commitment to all things sex and body positive.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of mindful awareness and using it to channel your energy directly into what matters to you. My deep connection to nature, ritual, myth, music, storytelling, the Tarot, meditation, embodiment practices, and creativity acts as an aid in the therapeutic process, offering gateways to accessing your inner wisdom, opening your heart and fostering confidence in navigating life's inevitable challenges. In our collaborative journey, my aim is to help you recognize and celebrate the entirety of your being. Together, we will work to unpack internal and external barriers that leave you guarded, alienated, and unsupported and we will get creative on what works for you as a unique human being.
