Are you feeling disconnected from your true self? Difficult experiences in life can bring up feelings of shame, worthlessness, or lack of direction, and it can be hard to know what to do. With compassion and honesty, I will assist you in working your way through issues while identifying your core values and emotional needs. I am a creative and humanistic therapist, utilizing a mixture theoretical approaches to best meet your needs. I look forward to joining you on your journey!
My Background and Approach
I specialize in offering a space where you can come as you are without any judgment. When we are not connected to our true selves, it shows up in our day-to-day life in the form of anxiety, addiction, depression, eating disorders, etc. I use an array of approaches including art therapy, ACT, and DBT to help you reconnect with your true identity. I utilize a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills to bring you to the present moment, allowing you to better understand yourself and what you need to feel fulfilled in life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves the chance to work on themselves in a space that is safe, comfortable, and supportive. I aim to hold that space for my clients no matter what struggle they are working through. When we feel heard, we start to heal, and I am here to listen. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I myself have benefited from safe spaces, and it is a part of my personal and professional mission to hold the same safe space for others throughout their journeys through life.
