Do you feel overwhelmed by painful thoughts and feelings? Are you stuck in patterns of behavior that no longer work for you? Pain is an inevitable part of life, and often our attempts to control or get rid of the pain lead to more suffering. But we can accept that pain as a part of the human experience and move forward anyway.
My Background and Approach
I use personalized mindfulness and exposure-based therapies to help you build awareness and skills to address what is leaving you feeling stuck and in pain. I am currently offering telehealth and limited in-person services for adults 18 and older. Some therapies I use include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These mindfulness-based behavioral therapies help clients address issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, loss, life transitions, and difficulty in relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A bit more about me: I’m working on all this myself! I'm trying to bring more balance, mindfulness, and fun into my life. I love reading, lying around, knitting, and taking walks, but the center of my life is my relationships (including the one I have with myself), and I prioritize these above all else.
