About My Clients
I grew up with mental health not being a discussed or welcome topic. Therapy has been a beautiful homecoming to myself, and I hope to offer others the same opportunity. Therapy is not a linear progression, in some sessions you may leave confident and empowered, while other sessions may lead to feeling raw and unsure. All parts of you deserve love, nurture, and to be seen and heard. I hope to empower clients and help them find their strength and ability to grow strong, rooted, and expansively.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. I utilize a person-centered, holistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and mindful approach to best serve clients. I offer the opportunity to incorporate art, metaphor, and expression as part of the therapeutic journey. I recognize my privilege in the therapeutic space & strive to provide attuned and informed care to all clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see therapy as a support to moving beyond survival, just trying to get through each day. The past few years of universal trauma have been a challenge to all of us to connect to wellness. My goal is for the therapeutic space to feel safe and supportive for all people. I work to be able to be an educated and non-judgmental support.
