My Background and Approach
With over 17 years of experience dedicated to facilitating healing and growth in individuals of all ages, my journey in mental health care has taken me through various settings, each contributing to my approach to therapy. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and trauma across different life stages. My areas of specialization include trauma-focused therapies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Additionally, I have experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), a highly effective approach for managing emotions and building interpersonal skills. My sessions are provided online via telehealth which means all you need is a secure wi-fi connection, a smart phone or laptop, and a quiet space.
