Providing Therapy with a Liberation Based, culturally sensitive, identity-affirming approach to young adults and adults.

Therapist in New Jersey

About My Clients

As a BIPOC Therapist, I strive to provide a holistic and culturally sensitive space in which an individual can find healing. I have significant experience working with individuals that have experienced childhood trauma and issues related to family of origin. My clients are those who need assistance in navigating the challenges of their lives as professionals, siblings, parents, friends or partners impacted by various oppressive systems.

My Background and Approach

My Approach draws heavily from Liberation-Based Psychology, Anti-oppression, & social justice. I have an Intersectional lens as well as strong awareness & sensitivity to an individual's various identities and how they are perceived in the world. My training as a therapist was done at the Institute for Family Services which pioneered Transformational Family Therapy, which translates social justice values and multicultural theory into a therapeutic model. I have a strong focus on family of origin and processing generational trauma.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that personal and relational problems are often linked to broader social issues, systemic oppression and family of origin. I want to help those that are struggling to live in an unjust world by aligning to make positive, necessary changes.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
