About My Clients
My clients are motivated to take part in the therapeutic process and are willing to challenge themselves and commit to personal growth and healing. My clients understand that therapy is a collaborative process and change is possible if they are willing to put in the work. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional eating. My Background and Approach
I aim to create a warm, therapeutic relationship grounded in collaboration and empowerment to help my clients challenge negative thoughts, uncover their true self, and find meaning in their life in order to help them to heal, grow, and thrive. We will work collaboratively to address negative thoughts, negative self-judgment, fear, and shame that contribute to depression, anxiety, low motivation, and poor self-image. My clinical practice over the past several years has been focused on highlighting clients' strengths and using that as a crucial tool in the therapeutic process. I integrate a diverse range of proven therapy techniques to aid in developing a range of healthy coping skills. Evidence-based practices with which I have experience include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
