About My Clients
I work with adults navigating the impact of trauma from childhood and/or romantic relationships, as well as those experiencing anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), people-pleasing tendencies, and challenges in relationships or family dynamics. I also enjoy working with young adults on topics such as coming-of-age transitions, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, and other aspects of self-discovery.
My Background and Approach
I've been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy in which we explore how our early interactions influence our current relationships. I incorporate ideas from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, the neurobiological impacts of trauma on the body, and the subsequent somatic work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My style is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. I meet you where you’re starting at. My priority is to help you feel safe and understood, so you no longer have to face things alone. I believe the most important thing about therapy is finding the right therapist-someone who makes you feel seen and validated. This is why I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.
