About My Clients

Are you feeling overwhelmed by shifts in your identity, sexual health, or relationships? Do you struggle with feeling misunderstood or feel trapped by negative self-talk? I understand how challenging this can be, and I'm here to help. By integrating intersectionality, queer and feminist theory, and disability justice, I use a compassionate approach to support you in navigating these transitions and building meaningful connections with yourself and others.

My Background and Approach

As an LCSW with five years of experience in relationship and sex therapy, I’ve honed a variety of techniques to support individuals, couples, and polycules through shifts in identity and sexual health. My credentials include a certificate in sex therapy and education from the University of Michigan and over 50 hours of specialized supervision. I also bring expertise in addressing the effects of medical trauma and chronic illness on sexuality, as well as exploration of sexual and gender identity. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and values. I’m dedicated to understanding and honoring your intersecting identities through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally humble lens. I use evidence-based somatic and experiential techniques to help you overcome self-limiting beliefs and build a more meaningful and fulfilling life. You’ll gain practical tools to build self-compassion and create a supportive space for your growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves to be seen and valued for who they truly are. My personal experience navigating the world as a fat, queer nonbinary person in the South, shapes my therapeutic approach. My values reflect the challenges I've faced living in a world that often marginalizes identities like mine. This has instilled a profound commitment to intersectionality, self-acceptance, and social justice. For me, it’s crucial to create a therapy space where you can explore and embrace your identity without fear of judgment. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally humble because I understand firsthand how our mental and emotional well-being is shaped by societal and cultural factors. My goal is to help you unlearn harmful messages and build a foundation of self-compassion and acceptance. I’m passionate about helping you grow where you’ve been expected to shrink. You are welcome here, just as you are.
