About My Clients
I offer individual, group, and family counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. With experience in mental health and substance use, I assist individuals and families with diverse issues: substance use, addiction, PTSD/trauma (including complex, developmental, and systemic trauma), depression/mood disorders, anxiety, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, LGBTQIA+ support, and BIPOC/multicultural support.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is rooted in principles of mutual trust, respect, and cultural humility. I provide a non-judgmental, open, and secure environment for clients to explore, learn, and heal on their unique journey. I am a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ affirmation, diversity inclusion, and cultural competence, acknowledging and honoring each individual's unique experiences and identities. My goal is to foster a therapeutic alliance that empowers and validates. Theoretically, I rely heavily on Rogerian person-centered therapy, emphasizing genuine and empathetic connections. To ensure the utmost quality of care, I integrate thoughtfully chosen interventions from diverse counseling approaches. Drawing from CBT, DBT, SFBT, MI, Narrative Therapy, Attachment theory, Polyvagal theory, and multi-systemic counseling, I tailor my approach to meet the distinctive needs of each client.

I am committed to ongoing education in various treatment approaches to serve diverse populations. I offer open-minded and affirming care, embracing gender, sexual, and relationship diversity. My safe space celebrates each individual's unique abilities and challenges. I stand for equity and social justice, supporting movements such as Black Lives Matter, LGBTQIA+ rights, immigrant rights, and women's rights. I offer online therapy, breaking down barriers and allowing you to process from the comfort of your home. I believe in your inherent capability to overcome challenges and create the life you desire; my role is to guide and support you.
