About My Clients
Are you interested in better understanding who you are or how you've lost touch with yourself? Are you trying to process traumas from your past, better recognize relationship patterns, or navigate aspects of your mind? Sometimes social, political, and capitalistic barriers make it feel as if a better life or world is unattainable. Therapy is a place for you to find your voice, power, and ways to cope.
My Background and Approach
Starting therapy can be very daunting and it takes a lot of effort just to look up therapists online. Everyone grows at their own pace and I'm eager to give you the patience, empathy, and encouragement you deserve. I can support you as you process small and large traumas, explore your gender, accept your neurodivergence, and more. Together we can help you find safety in vulnerability, develop healthier coping mechanisms, let go of things that no longer serve you, connect with your emotions, regulate your body's response to triggers, and accept parts of your identity society has forced you to oppress.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a neurodivergent, queer, and ace-spectrum person, who deals with chronic pain, I understand ways society marginalizes people - though I recognize our experiences may be very different. I strive to make the therapy space safe for clients of all identities, by reducing power dynamics and emotional labor.
