About My Clients
In therapy, want to heal through empowerment and liberation. I see clients who want to grow and transform by using their inner wisdom and learning new tools. I see folks who are multicultural and have been through hardships. Trauma comes in many forms: Interpersonal issues within partners, family, friends, work, and or systemic issues such as racism, homo/transphobia, and immigration. Weekly / biweekly 50 min talk therapy at $220/session. Sliding scale available.
My Background and Approach
I work from a social justice framework. It's important that a client feels valued and respected so they can show up as their full selves. I specialize in complex PTSD and prolonged trauma exposure, such as dysfunctional relationships and sexual violence. I am familiar working with folks who have demanding work lives, stride between different cultures, and are seeking more balance, authenticity, creativity, autonomy, movement, and freedom. Kennedy University) - Psychedelic Therapy Training Program 2021 (MAPS) I am a DEI consultant and educator in academic, non-profit, and corporate spaces.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a first generation immigrant who came to the states to become a therapist. I grew up with values of collectivism, spiritual alignment, and respect for all living beings. It's important to me that ethnic and racial minorities, gender and sexually diverse folks have the safety, freedom, and resources to live the lives they want to live. Born Asian female-at-birth, I've worked through stereotypes, fetishization, and violence and support others in reclaiming their power! I value integrity and strongly believe in practicing ethical codes that govern therapy. I am a director of a queer climbing organization and like climbing, caring for plants, and traveling.
