I am a trauma survivor and thriver and know how to help people with complex issues and challenges. I want you to know change is possible. Healing is possible. And I am here to help.
My Background and Approach
I have over 30 years experience in mental heath care. My calm, non-judgmental and compassionate presence create a space where you can feel safe and seen. I know what works and what doesn't; I am direct and will not waste your time. I offer evidenced based treatment including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, EMDR and IFS parts work. I tailor my work to your individual needs. My clients are often surprised how quickly they feel better and can make changes in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe it's never too late to realize your full self, to become who you might have been. As a trauma survivor, I know the hard work it takes to heal from all the difficulties of our past. I also know that healing happens in relationship and that to get past your past, and to function better right now, you need a safe space to be heard and seen. I wish I could tell you that you can do it alone, but one of the truths of healing is that it happens in relationship. I have a small practice where I can devote my full attention to you and your healing. I do not discriminate against anyone and welcome you and all of your parts into the relationship.
