About My Clients
Jen provides a warm, nonjudgmental, safe, and confidential environment for healing and change to take place. She utilizes techniques and interventions unique to the needs an individual brings into session. Her clients are mostly adolescents and adults, and she takes a culturally sensitive approach to working with individuals whose culture or spiritual values are important in the process of making decisions and creating change.
My Background and Approach
In addition to the practice, Jen has served as a consultant for nonprofit and corporate companies. Jen develops strategic programs and innovative solutions to raise the bar on accessibility and ADA accommodations to dismantle ableism and promote diversity and inclusion for people of all varying disabilities in the workplace (including mental health conditions!). With Jen's programs and consultation, companies have received national awards for disability equality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Jen Wilburn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida and a Certified Intrinsic Life Coach (CIC). Jen holds a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida with dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing, English "with Honors" from Florida State University.
