About My Clients

I work with members of the LGBTQ+ community and we tackle identity questions, relationship challenges, family issues, and more. I also work with all people struggling in their relationships or hoping to get into a meaningful partnership. I help clients examine feelings of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and uncertainty about next steps and questions about life transitions. Together we will sort through whatever you're struggling with and alleviate your feelings of stress.

My Background and Approach

My approach is integrative and client-centered. I combine elements of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theory. I work with each client to understand what type of treatment will work best for them and we collaborate on the most fruitful therapeutic plan together. If you're more goal oriented, we can design our sessions to be action-based and pull from CBT. If you prefer to talk more about how you relate to people in your life based on your upbringing, we will dive into hearty psychodynamic discussions. If you feel like you want to rewrite your perspective and create a new storyline for your emotional wellbeing, we can use Narrative Therapy to get you closer to where you want to be. Perhaps you'd like to draw from all of these modalities. Let's find out, together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in intersectional feminism, I believe that Black Lives Matter, I believe in Trans rights, Gay rights, human rights. I am pro-immigrant and pro-choice. I believe any person who has the ability to become pregnant has the ability to make decisions about their own bodies. I am pro-sex. I am culturally Jewish in the most agnostic, New York, speed through Passover seder type of way. I am dissatisfied with the pace our country is dismantling racist systems but I am hopeful about the more focused efforts in communities. I am constantly learning, sometimes making mistakes, frequently asking questions, and forever holding myself responsible for my own knowledge.
