"Tell yourself you're okay," "Take a deep breath", there's so much more to anxiety than these simple, sometimes belittling comments. If you've never experienced anxiety before you really don't know what it feels life. Through our collaborative work with we will be able to identify triggers and utilize coping skills to prevent the anxiety from reaching the level of debilitating.

CBT helps us understand how the way we think about ourselves and situations impacts our own emotions and actions. One main proponent of CBT is "you feel the way you think", therefore if you're thinking in healthy way you will be happy and healthy.

In it's simplest form, Solution Focused Brief therapy helps our work focus on the solution, the positive outcome that we are hoping to achieve, rather than getting stuck in the weeds of the "problems."

In my opinion, trauma therapy is very individualized and catered around what each specific clients needs in that moment with the end goal of helping the client deal with the emotional responses that may be caused by a traumatic event.
