Day-to-day life, at times, can cause anxiety and stress for all of us. If you're experiencing a new chapter, or if you desire to set personal goals to create a new chapter for yourself, I am here to listen, support, and encourage you along the journey. While trained in a wide-range of mental health concerns, my practice focuses primarily on LGBTQIA+ identities, anxiety, trauma, and compassion fatigue.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Tennessee (#12970), and I am currently earning hours toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Christina Lee, LCSW (#7638). My practice uses an integrated evidence-based approach through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-solving therapy to help you feel supported and empowered. My perspective is shaped by my work in Corporate America and in the nonprofit sector. My roles have encompassed diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership and organizational development, corporate education, and facilitation of adult learning and interfaith dialogue. In my free time, I'm cheering for USC Trojans football and backpacking with my husband and our four dogs.
