Sexual concerns come in many forms. You may be experiencing sexual pain or sexual functioning difficulties. Maybe you're unhappy with the frequency of sex in your relationship or are dissatisfied with the kind of sex you're having. I work with individuals and couples to rediscover pleasure, power, and passion in their sexual selves.
My Background and Approach
As a marriage and family therapist, I take a systemic, holistic approach to sexual concerns. This means that I explore other facets of your life, including family history, relationship history, and past sexual experiences to uncover connections to current challenges. We will work collaboratively to determine the best techniques and strategies that will move you towards your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person deserves a healthy and satisfying sex life. I also believe that so many things can get in the way of this. We are inundated with messages about sex and sexuality from a young age - from family, media, society, etc. - and many of these messages are unhelpful or even detrimental to our sexual development. The good news is that we can invest in new messages and ideas that allow us to celebrate our sexual selves.
