About My Clients

I work with teenagers and adults as well as older adults. I take a holistic and welcoming approach to those who want to work on self improvement and to gain a better understanding of their symptoms and behaviors. I enjoy working with those who want to physically feel relief from trauma, depression and anxiety through trauma-focused yoga and somatic techniques. I also engage in talk therapy and logic-based skills and processing therapy depending on your needs and interests.

My Background and Approach

Hi, I'm Jessica. I offer individual therapy for adults and teens both virtually and in person. I focus on treating those who want to find new skills and tools for overcoming symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma as well as gain a better understanding of their minds and behaviors. I am an intermediate Somatic Experiencing Practitioner student and 300-hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga teacher in training. This means I also like to focus on both the body and the mind so you can both logically understand a symptom or behavior and heal the physical manifestations of it. I have been trained in several treatments of trauma and related disorders, using an integrative approach tailored to each individual. I utilize DBT and compassion-focused techniques as well as psychodynamic and strengths-based relational approaches and Cognitive Processing Therapy. My main focus is working with somatic or body-based "ground up" approaches.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
