About My Clients

My ideal client is someone motivated to grow, heal, and explore their potential. They may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions and are open to self-discovery and meaningful change. Whether a child, teen, or adult, they are ready to engage in the therapeutic process and work collaboratively toward their goals. Together, we’ll create a supportive path to healing and empowerment, tailored to their unique needs.

My Background and Approach

I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in trauma-informed care for individuals of all ages. My training includes EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and expressive arts therapy. These modalities allow me to provide a compassionate, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered, offering a safe, supportive space to explore challenges and work toward meaningful change. Whether you're facing trauma, anxiety, depression, or personal growth goals, I incorporate creativity and proven techniques to help you heal and thrive. Therapy with me is about empowering you to harness your strengths and build the life you envision.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone has the capacity for healing and growth, even in the face of life’s challenges. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their unique journeys. Creativity is a key part of my practice, as it can unlock powerful insights and foster deeper healing. I also believe therapy is inherently political. The systems and structures we navigate impact mental health, and addressing these realities is vital to healing and growth. I am committed to cultural humility, inclusivity, and honoring the diverse backgrounds and experiences my clients bring to therapy. I see therapy as a partnership, where we work together to identify goals and create meaningful change. At the core of my practice is hope—the belief that, even in difficult times, hope can guide us forward and help us build a fulfilling, empowered life.
