About My Clients
Are you finding yourself less connected to others lately? Does anxiety keep you stewing instead of doing? I love working with creative people that are stuck in cycles that were once helpful but are now problematic. I enjoy seeing folks moving through major life transitions from relationships to identity growth.
My Background and Approach
Having had a long term relationship with anxiety myself, I'm well versed in how our minds can sway us into overly-protective bubbles. Coping tools are great, and we all need them, but we also need longer term strategies and maintenance tools to keep it at bay long enough to learn new habits. I incorporate ACT, CBT, and Adlerian styles to help set bite-sized goals based in curiosity. Are you willing to think outside the box and try some new suggestions that might involve tapping into your artistic expression, play therapy (even for adults), creating character narratives of yourself, world building, and resource sharing? I ask for you to bring accountability and a willingness to try on some different perspectives. Let's get you closer to joy and living in a way you can have a more active roll in your own outcomes.
