About My Clients
While I have experience working with people from many different ages and identity groups, the focus of my current work is with young adults, college students, and creatives. My clients can expect to feel curious about their internal world and to challenge the limiting beliefs that keep them from reaching their goals. They can expect to learn new skills to help them cope with both big and small scale stressors. If that sounds like you, I'd love to work with you!
My Background and Approach
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2019. I have worked with teens and young adults for over a decade and have practiced therapy in schools, community mental health, and in higher education. My specialties include trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, life transitions, creative industry issues, chronic illness and disability, and working with college students. I also have experience helping clients through eating disorders and late-diagnosed ADHD and Autism. I integrate many types of therapy in my work with clients, including ACT, DBT, IFT, feminist, narrative, and psychodynamic therapies. I aim to be queer-affirming, anti-oppressive, and neurodivergent-affirming in all of my work, including therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm an avid crafter, artist and musician. I love to travel, including wandering around my home city of Chicago. I am active in progressive politics in and see social justice as a core part of my work as a social worker.
