About My Clients
Do you wish you had a user manual for your life? Well, you're in luck! I'm an expert on the human experience, especially when it comes to neurodiversity, health and wellness, and managing tricky and persistent problems like Borderline Personality Disorder, substance abuse, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and gender-related issues.
My Background and Approach
I'm a psychotherapist with a special interest in holistic health and fitness. I enjoy helping other humans overcome barriers, either real or imaginary, so they can work to self-actualize themselves and bring their unique contributions to their community. In particular, I employ evidence-based techniques which have been scientifically demonstrated to improve lives. For example, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a key modality I employ since it is has the greatest evidence showing its efficacy. At the same time, I recognize that the true value of psychotherapy is human connection. You're fully capable of reading self-help books and watching videos on self-betterment. And while those things work, having someone who understands and cares about you is often the most essential component of healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We're all in this together. It's too easy to forget that we're all humans just trying to make our way to a better world the best we can. That better world ultimately starts with the individual. Sometimes that takes hard work. I like to put in hard work at the gym doing CrossFit. I also like to live out my beliefs as fully and authentically as I can.
