About My Clients

Kamilah will work with you to embrace self-love and compassion, understand who you are, where you are coming from and where you want to go. From interpersonal or systemic issues, identity, substance abuse, PTSD, trauma, relationships, anxiety, or depression. These are all experiences with which I am here to support you with. I am passionate about supporting BIPOC folks with exploring and managing the impacts of system oppression and intergenerational trauma on their mental health.

My Background and Approach

Taking the first step to begin therapy takes courage, strength, and vulnerability. Kamilah values and understands this. Kamilah is a black Caribbean woman who is dedicated to understanding BIPOC folks who may not yet understand their needs and want support with understanding themselves, their relationships, & the world around them. Kamilah uses both a trauma-informed and holistic lens to explore both internal and external forces that may be barriers to you showing up as your authentic self.
