About My Clients
I enjoy working with teens, college students, young adults, and adults. I have experience working with those who suffer with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, and spirituality concerns. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to reach out for support. You are one step closer to living the life you want to live.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I love my job as a therapist and fostering authentic relationships with others. I started my journey as a therapist in a residential eating disorder facility and then transitioned into private practice. I am trained in EMDR and am currently working towards becoming certified. I have completed advanced training in EMDR+IFS protocols and regularly attend consultation to hone my skills as a therapist and EMDR provider.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my priority to be respectful and culturally sensitive in my work so that therapy is safe and supportive for everyone. I provide LGBTQAI+ friendly therapy services and work to be an ally for all of my clients. I believe we all have an innate capacity for growth and healing, and that it is a privilege to hold my clients' joys and pains with them. I became a therapist due to having my own experiences in therapy that changed my life for the better. I desire to give to others the care I received in my own therapy.
