Our clients select Medallion Therapy to explore identity discord, gender transitioning, body dysmorphia, growing autonomy, empowerment, and self acceptance. Fostering self determination in tandem with identifying negative societal norms that have been internalized may be a focus of LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy. There is no such thing as “normal”, clients are encouraged and gently challenged to explore and expand on their own beliefs and values.

Our team primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; incorporating techniques and interventions from a wide array of therapeutic approaches. As a collaborative team, let’s uncover thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are interfering with your life’s trajectory. Understanding the origin of feelings and thoughts can help strengthen your understanding of self and repeated patterns of unproductive behavior. My goal in session is to create an environment of validation, understanding, and comfort. Let’s make the space for you to discover a positive sense of self, reject societal norms that are leaving wounds, and garner a deeper self acceptance.
