About My Clients
I am passionate about working with clients from all walks of life while providing a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy using an integrative approach to therapy that is collaborative and based on the client’s expressed needs and goals. I am trained in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, which aims to enhance communication skills, strengthen friendship and intimacy, and create shared meaning in relationships. In addition, my work with clients is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My clinical training includes facilitating individual and group therapy with adults, adolescents, and families in a private practice setting, as well as in residential and outpatient facilities. My areas of specialization include couples counseling, interpersonal and relationship issues and improving communication, anxiety, depression, building self-esteem, processing grief and loss, life transitions, and substance use issues. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirming.
