About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan to help build self-esteem and confidence to reduce the "what ifs" and self-critical thoughts that can come with anxiety and depression. We might struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, or an inner self-critic. With my experience in helping children and teens, I enjoy helping adults heal their inner child and I would love to help you build a better relationship with yourself so that you can live the life that you want.
My Background and Approach
Everyone is unique, which is why finding the right tools and therapy for you is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I bring a variety of skills and approaches into session, pulling from both art and science. I have training in evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused CBT, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems. No matter your age, I love to bring play and creativity into sessions such as art, movement, and writing to assist with self-expression, building confidence, and exploring your strengths. Therapy can be like a laboratory- we can try out different approaches to find what works for you, or we can use it as a testing ground to explore your identity and how you would like to exist in relationships with others while being in a safe space to do so.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When out of the office I enjoy crafting and painting. I also like to play soccer and go out on walks to connect with nature. When it's too cold to be outside, I spend my time indoors playing video games.
