About My Clients
Clients I have worked with have been survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, individuals experiencing grief, individuals in non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships, queer individuals, and people who have had abortions. I am mindful of the stigma many identities and experiences are saddled with and provide non-judgemental, trauma-informed therapy.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based. You are the expert on your own experience and perspective. Together we can identify areas for growth and work toward a more compassionate existence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You may be living with trauma, dealing with ongoing oppressive circumstances, or be working through a particularly challenging life event. Whatever the case, I believe that everyone can benefit from finding new perspectives, coping skills, and learning about personal strengths to buoy us through the roughness of life. I'd be honored to offer the supportive, nonjudgemental, trauma-informed space for you to process and heal. We will have difficult conversations, but work to find the light in the dark, the humor in the hard, and lessons from it all. Using an anti-capitalist, anti-racist, feminist approach to therapy is a priority for me. I aim to affirm your full identity as we work to put your experience into the context of our society's boundaries and oppressions.
